Liverpool coffee shop is chocca with egg-citing events this Easter


Wigwam coffee shop has an eggstra special line-up of events to keep your little bunnies amused this Easter.

The family-friendly play café on Rose Lane, Mossley Hill, will be chocca with all kinds of fun activities for children to enjoy over the Easter break.

  • Bees are Brilliant!

On Tuesday, March 27, from 12noon, Wigwam will be a hive of activity with fun, bee-themed activities. Don’t miss the screening of children’s classic film Bee Movie as well as colouring and crafts galore. At 2pm, local author, Shaun Millea, will be reading from his latest children’s book, Arthur Bee has a Secret. He’ll also be selling copies of the book and one lucky person can win a signed copy of his book. Buzzing! Free, just turn up.

  • Jack & the Beanstalk

To celebrate the Epstein Theatre’s fabulous Easter panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, Wigwam will be showing the film in The Green Room on Wednesday, March 28, from 12pm. As well as showing off their artistic talents, children can enter a competition to win a family ticket to the panto which is running at the Epstein Theatre, from March 30 until April 8. Free, just turn up.

  • Mad Hatter’s Craft Party

Don’t be late for this very important date! Children can make a wacky Mad Hatter-style Easter bonnet and there will also be storytelling and a sing along too. The event takes place on Thursday, March 29 from 10.30am-11.30am. Price: £7, booking preferable.

  • Easter Party

Go crazy for Easter with an egg-stravaganza of fun on Monday, April 2 Easter! From 12pm, there will be an Easter egg hunt in the coffee shop and Easter crafts and colouring, as well as an Easter disco in The Green Room. Free, just turn up.

  • Dazzling Disney Day

Disney on Ice is back at the Liverpool Echo Arena from April 11-15 with the stunning Worlds of Enchantment show featuring four Disney family favourites. On Tuesday, April 3, from 10.30am, catch some classic Disney films back to back in The Green Room, enjoy some Disney-themed colouring and one lucky winner will receive a family ticket for Disney on Ice. Free, just turn up.

  • Autism in Motion Easter Drop-In

If you or your family are affected by any issues to do with autism and you want some support and advice then come along for a chat on Thursday, April 5, from 4pm. Or if you just want to chill out with a coffee while your child plays in a safe and nurturing environment then you’re welcome too!
