Tired of titivating the tinsel and charging around toy shops like the proverbial insect with the blue bottom this Christmas?
Then let your hair down this weekend with an afternoon of wild bingo and a mouth-watering menu of festive delights.
Taking place at Camp and Furnace, Brunch by Bongo’s Bingo on Sunday, 16th December, provides the perfect yuletide day out with fellow mums, friends, family or workmates.
A massive hit in the city, Bongo’s Bingo is an insane mix of a live show, a rave and heads-down game of bingo, with dance-offs, rave intervals, plenty of heckling, audience participation and countless hands-in-the-air anthems each night.
A wildly diverse demographic flock to Bongo’s Bingo – not just for a night of incredible joy, singalongs and false calls, but something much more – for escapism, for nostalgia, for dancing on tables – and also, the chance to win a pink unicorn amongst many other prizes, including Henry Hoovers, boxes of Coco Pops and life-size cardboard cutouts of Philip Scofield, not to mention big cash prizes.
Artisanal legends, Burger Joe, are the new culinary hosts for the brunch providing a sumptuous scran for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans – and don’t forget the free fizz which is available to sup from midday to 1pm.
All-time Xmas 80s and 90s classics will be dropping in too, along with the extra dose of the magic and mayhem everyone has come to expect at Bongo’s.
The full-on Christmas odyssey will feature lots of crazy and iconic prizes plus big cash handouts, all infused with a big fat dollop of tinsel-wrapped festive merriment.
