Top tips for a winter visit on safari!

Christmas is finally here! There’s a few doors open on the advent calendar and there’s plenty of happy faces coming out of Knowsley Safari this winter. Maybe it’s because it only costs £15 per car to adventure on the safari drive, and completely FREE to venture onto the foot safari. Or maybe it’s because there’s some Christmas magic in the air everywhere you look!

It’s Santa!

It’s finally December and Knowsley Safari is looking extra Christmassy this year. There’s definitely some magic in the air around the safari’s Christmas Grotto, where Santa and his elves are ready to spread some festive joy.

Top tip: Book your meeting with Santa as soon as you get here, then fill your day with adventure. Grotto opens from 9.30am, find all times by clicking here 

Winter adventures

Winter can still be exciting on the drive! Seeing a huge rhino rolling around in the mud is certainly a sight you won’t forget any time soon. Plenty animals are active in the cold weather, so keep your eyes peeled!

Top tip: The best time to visit the drive is between 11am and 2pm! Safari drive closes at 3pm.

Festive treats

The safari restaurant looks like a winter wonderland right now. Everywhere you look there’s festive treats to be had. From gingerbread bites, to steamy mulled wine. There’s definitely some Christmas joy for the adults to enjoy too!
